Lynwood House bed and breakfast is a beautiful bed and breakfast in the heart of Cambridge offering our guests a wonderful stay; all double/twin and family rooms are en-suite. With a wide choice of complimentary fine teas and coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, a bottle of water and a flask of fresh milk. Hand and bath towels with luxury toiletries from Duck Island are also provided. Each of the en-suite rooms has comfortable chairs, writing desk or dressing tables. We provide free wireless broadband internet access to all guest rooms and all rooms have 26” flat panel HD ready televisions with free view channels. Our guest house is located in one of the finest parts of Cambridge just a ten minute walk from the city centre with car parking, it really is a question of location location location just two minutes walk away is the Old Spring pub which serves a good selection of food and beers if you like fine dining you have Midsummer House which is a two Michelin star restaurant on the bank of the river Cam next to the Fort St George pub. Chesterton 22 also a fine restaurant. We also have two Chinese restaurants the Hot Pot on Chesterton Road, and in Milton Road, Hakka and an Indian restaurant the Narala and three other pubs within a five minute walk, Other shops and services gives the whole area a wonderful village feel, with Midsummer Common the river Cam and Jesus Green all close by. Talking of food that is something we are really passionate about, we have just received a breakfast accolade from the AA. All the ingredients on our breakfast menu are made from the finest quality ingredients and from local suppliers, the Cambridge organic food company supply our free range organic eggs and our organic white and wholemeal bread is made by Maskills, a local baker less than two miles away and delivered straight from the oven, your toast will never taste the same, Northrop butchers supply our free range bacon and hand made free range sausages, not all of our produce is organic but we endeavour to change any products as soon as we can.
