Just two minutes walk from the village centre, adjacent to Grasmere Lake, the hotel stands in two acres of beautifully tended gardens which boast a heated outdoor swimming pool and a private pier. Each of the hotel's delightful bedrooms has been individually designed with coordinating fabrics and wallpapers. Ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, radio and colour television are standard in every room.
