The property built in the late 17 century, was originally four cottages and has bean sympathetically altered to 7 letting bedrooms consisting of 4 en suite and 3 with shared bathrooms. There is a small Guest kitchen with microwave and fridge in it for those who wish to use it. There is plenty of car parking behind the premises leading on to a spacious garden which our guests are very welcome to enjoy. In the Village there is Church of England, Methodist and Catholic churches. A Museum, Library, Art Gallery, Aero Park, Village Hall, local Cricket & Football matches, Clay Shooting, many walks in open country side, children’s play area and Spital park for the older children. Fishing and Bird watching near by. Calk Abbey ( National Trust )and Staunton Harold within 20 mins drive. Nottingham Sherwood Forest, Alton Towers, Ashbourne, The Peak District, Bakewell Chatworth House and Matlock are about 40 minutes drive. We are just 5 minutes drive from all Major Routes, M1 M42 A50 – M6. Outside the Guest House a bus stop with 24hour service to EMA ( 7 minutes ) also to local villages and towns. E.g.
