Upper Ansdore Farmhouse dates from the XIVth century with later additions. The house once belonged to Sir William Cockaine, a former Lord Mayor of London in 1619, and is mentioned in Hasted's history of Kent. Situated in a Sylvan setting with far reaching views across the valley, in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It overlooks a Kent trust nature reserve. You are assured of a warm welcome, and a full English breakfast with our own free range eggs etc. Excellent location for walking, cycling and exploring the surrounding areas. Lyminge Forest and Kent Nature Reserve both one mile.
