The Carlton House is a friendly, family-run hotel just 3 minutes' drive from Dundee City centre. Many of the rooms have scenic views of the River Tay and Fife Hills beyond. We are close to many areas of interest such as the award-winning Verdant Works Heritage Museum, which is maintained in full working order and Captain Scott's famous polar exploration ship, RRS Discovery. There are also many Castles and Scottish Glens to visit in the surrounding areas of Angus and Perthshire. We are also within easy reach of many championship golf courses, including the famous St. Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links, home of The Open Championship 2007.
