Peacefully situated in Windermere overlooking Queens Park, this guest house is a short stroll from the amenities in the village and about 20 minutes? walk from the Lake and Bowness. Laurel Cottage is convenient for Windermere rail and bus station and is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. The guest house is set within a small Victorian house built in the 1890s of local stone. It has been modernised to offer up-to-date comforts, but has retained its original character. Laurel Cottage is run by the owners Gwen and John, who offer a warm and friendly welcome.
